An Update on the EUROe Wind-Down: Next Steps & How to Redeem Your Holdings
A few months ago, we shared the exciting news that Membrane Finance is now part of Paxos. This step is a huge leap forward in our mission to support a regulated, secure digital asset ecosystem in Europe, with a renewed focus on growing the presence of USDG.
As part of this journey, we began the process of gradually winding down our EUROe stablecoin services, with the minting of new EUROe having stopped on May 31st.
Today, we’re sharing the next important steps in this process. We want to make sure you have all the information you need to redeem your EUROe holdings smoothly and securely.
Key Dates You Need to Know
- EUROe Account Shutdown: The main EUROe Account portal and other direct customer interfaces will be shut down on 31st July. This is the last day you can use your account for a direct, seamless redemption.
- DeFi Liquidity Pool Withdrawal: By 28th July our partners will be draining EUROe liquidity pools from decentralized exchanges. If you are a liquidity provider, we strongly recommend you withdraw your assets from these pools before this date.
How to Redeem Your EUROe
After 31st July all redemptions must be made through a dedicated online portal. To make sure your request goes to the right place and is processed correctly, please find the category you belong to below and use the specified link.
- Retail Customers: If you are an individual retail holder of EUROe, please use this portal:
https://redemptions.membrane.fi/ - Existing Business Customers: If you are onboarded with Membrane Finance, use:
https://www.euroe.com/redemption - Other Legal Entities: If you’re not onboarded but represent an entity, use:
https://www.euroe.com/customer-redemption
Using the correct portal is the most important step you can take to ensure your redemption is handled efficiently. Please note that redemptions submitted through these portals may require some additional verification steps.
Moving Forward
We understand that this process requires action from your side, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our team is focused on making this transition as smooth as possible for every EUROe holder.
Thank you for your support and understanding as we take these final steps. We are incredibly excited about our future with Paxos and our shared goal of building a stronger, safer, and more accessible financial future for Europe.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team.
